An introduction to knowledge and skills in the areas of critical and creative thinking and problem solving. A variety of psychological thinking skills will be developed and practiced, including goal setting, decision making, brainstorming, strategic planning, pattern recognition, lateral thinking, values clarification, and problem solving. Connections will be made with the student's academic, vocational, and personal experience. Prerequisite: ENG 060 (EN 2103) or higher placement and eligible for ENG 101 (EN 1103).
