This course provides comprehensive coverage of Structured Query Language (SQL). Students will learn to restrict, sort, retrieve, and manipulate data in a relational database, using appropriate SQL clauses. Topics will include: single row functions, joins, and aggregates. This course will help students prepare for the Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) certification path. Prerequisite: CSC 101 (CS 1101), CAP 101 (CA 1101) or permission of instructor. Recommended Corequisite: ITC 161 (CS 2101) - Introduction to Database Design.
