Spanish I for Criminal Justice is a self paced, individualized course designed specifically for law enforcement personnel. This program introduces and reinforces vocabulary and communicative functions essential to police officers, firefighters, court clerks and other law enforcement personnel who interact with the Spanishspeaking community. Spanish phrases covered include how to make and receive reports, how to provide aid in an emergency, and how to apprehend a criminal. General Education Elective: Humanities Note: This course is equivalent to LAN 151 (HU 7131), Beginning Spanish I, and credit for both will not be given.
