The initial course in Nursing is designed to acquaint the student with theoretical content basic to the practice of Nursing. Emphasis is on development of understanding of the nursing process and the role of the professional nurse in the current health care system. Corequisites: ANT 101 (SO 1101), BIO 231 (SC 2115), PSY 101 (SO 5101), NUR 102 (NU 1311) Intensive Values: Technology/Environment/Health Note: NUR 102 (NU 1311) must be taken concurrently with NUR 101 (NU 1111).
