Beginning Vietnamese is a course for students with very or no knowledge of the Vietnamese language. The course is built around thematic vocabulary development, elementary social language and basic-level grammar. Upon completion, students will learn Vietnamese well enough to perform routine tasks and participate in simple conversations. Students will also learn about some aspects of Vietnamese culture.
