Institution:
Middlesex Community College - Massachusetts
Subject:
Description:
This course is designed for the CAD Technology student to provide the basic information and experience necessary to layout doublesided and multi-layered printed circuit boards using state-of-theart design tools (POWER PCB and Power Logic). POWER Logic and POWER PCB will be used for schematic capture and PCB layout. Analog and Digital type layouts will be used to develop standard layout practices. However, emphasis will be in the layout of digital type PC boards using automated and interactive CAD design tools (POWER PCB and Power Logic). Extensive coverage of multilayer and double-sided boards practices from 2 through 6 layers can be expected. Drilled Hole Technology and Surface Mount Technology Design will be used for designs.
