Students will be introduced to the hands-on procedures for generating manually drawn schematics and manual layouts of electrical diagrams and Printed Circuit Boards. After this introduction the student will use AutoCAD and PADS Logic schematic capture software for generating diagrams. PADS-PCB will be used to introduce the first time PCB layout person to a hands-on CAD based Printed Circuit program. This course requires additional CAD use during open labs. Course usually offered in the fall semester.
