Practicum emphasizing acting and play production. Emphasis on the fundamental tools of the actor, including development of the imagination, creative interpretation, characterization, script analysis, improvisation, voice, and movement. Students will gain knowledge of the techniques of different acting styles, as well as studying and performing scripts. The course combines individual and group exercises and concludes with the performance of a play in front of an audience. Prerequisite: ENG*003 or ENG*073 or reading exemption on placement test.
