This course serves as an introduction to broadcast writing, production, and distribution. Areas covered include program development, copy and scriptwriting, production techniques, FCC regulations, broadcast technology and operation, and new methods of program delivery. Emphasis will be on developing effective communication skills through written assignments, reasearch, and the production of radio and television programming. Prerequisite: Placement in ENG*063 or higher.
