(Formerly BC 255, Fundamentals of Electronic Music) Electronic music composition and instrumentation will be explored. Elements of music theory will be covered as well as electronic music technology including MIDI, analog and digital synthesis, and sound sampling. Creating soundtracks and synchronizing soundtracks for film and video will also be covered. No prior musical experience is required. Prerequisite: COM*131 Audio Production (Formerly BC 151) or permission of instructor.
