(Formerly ART 114) An introduction to basic jewelry techniques such as metal forming, metal weaving, sawing, soldering, and working with hand tools. Students work in base metals such as copper and bronze, or in sterling silver. Design will be heavily emphasized. Students will furnish their own hand tools and materials which will cost about $50.
