This module is dedicated to training correctional officers in handling emergency situations in a correctional setting such as fires, hostage situations, riots and disturbances, and hazardous materials, etc. For School of Justice students only. Special fee. (26 contact hours) basic job skills as per Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice Standards and Training, and Department of Education Framework. Topics include criminal law, correctional operations, criminal investigation, and supervision. Program is offered at Institute of Criminal Justice only. Special fee. (360 contact hours)
