Provides linguistic principles of American Sign Language at the intermediate level and an additional 500 sign concepts. Lecture, discussion and lab practice are included. Students have increased opportunities for interaction with members of the deaf community. Increasingly, class sessions are conducted in ASL. Prerequisite: SPA 1613C. (4 hour lecture)
