Core Complement Course in Natural Sciences Bioinformatics is an interdisciplinary dimension of biotechnology that merges the development of computer technology application with molecular biology. This introductory level course will combine the fundamental information required to understand the basic DNA-protein and molecular biology concepts with the computer applications that will enable the student to annotate, manipulate and interpret such databases. 3 credits.
