First half of the CHM 2210-2211 sequence. Students should complete the CHM 2210-2211 sequence before transferring to a senior institution. A study of the nomenclature, preparations, reactions and electronic and structural features of alkenes, alkynes, alkyl halides, aromatic hydrocarbons and other organic compounds. Prerequisite: CHM 1046 with a grade of C or better; Corequisite: CHM 2210L. Special fee. (3 hour lecture)
