An introduction to a variety of chemical instrumentation commonly employed in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. The course will combine lecture and discussion with laboratory experiences to present the principles of instrumental analysis as well to provide extensive hands-on experience with instrumentation commonly used in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Pre/ corequisites: CHM 2200, 2200L, 2110C or CHM 2210, 2210L, 2211, 2211L. Laboratory fee. (3 hour lecture; 2 hour lab)
