(4) H Lecture three hours per week. Lab three hours per week. Prerequisite: None. A survey of general, organic and biochemistry. A study of the fundamental principles of chemistry, including atomic and molecular structure, the structure, properties and reactions of organic compounds and their role in human biochemistry. An introductory look at the structure and function of biological macromolecules.
