(4) Lecture three hours per week. Laboratory three hours per week. Prerequisite: Science 240, with a minimum grade of C. This course is the second in the two-course general biology sequence. It will reinforce the major concepts mastered in SCI 240 by focusing on both plant and animal structure and function, as well as the homeostatic balance required for all life to exist. (Science 240 and 241 fulfill CAN BIOL SEQ A); UC/IND/SCU area B2, B3; IGETC area 5.
