(3) Prerequisite: Grade ofB+ or better in English 114; member of the PTK Honors Program or consent of instructor. A study of the novel as a literary form influenced by various historical, philosophical and socio-cultural developments. Students are expected to work with both primary and secondary sources. Scope of course may include representative works from American, British, European and Third World literature as determined by the instructor.
