(3) Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in English 112, completion of ENG 105/106 if indicated by placement test results or other criteria (e.g. advancing from ESL program). Presentation of the key elements of critical analysis, with a focus on written response to culturally diverse college-level readings. Refinement of the use of quotations, summary, paraphrase, logical reasoning and argumentation to support clearly defined thesis statements.
