Assistant I and Laboratory Orientation to the profession of physical therapy serves as a backdrop for acquiring cognitive and psychomotor skills related to selected fundamentals of physical therapy. Topics include draping/ positioning of patients, palpation of anatomical landmarks, goniometry, muscle manual testing, vital signs, universal precautions, and ambulation with assistive devices.
