This course emphasizes cultural and social influences on and of design and the implications of practice in a global marketplace. Projects will involve sites outside of the United States and require analysis of applicable design codes and the use of the metric system of measurement. Special attention will be given to using sustainable design methods and technology. Graphic standards, business forms, and conventional office procedures will be employed. Requires a grade of C+ or above for successful completion. Prerequisite: IND 211. 5 credits (Fall)
