A foundation course in visual communication techniques employed by designers to explore and represent concepts in threedimensional space as well as to communicate to colleagues, clients, trades people, and construction contractors. A variety of media and techniques are explored for color rendering two-dimensional and threedimensional drawings. Modeling techniques, utilizing a variety of materials and media, are also explored for use in representing interior space and construction systems at various stages in the design process from conceptual design through final presentation, including models used to study daylighting. Requires a grade of C or above for successful completion. Prerequisite: IND 103. 3 credits (Fall)
