Advanced concepts and techniques for utilizing industry-standard microcomputer application software are explored. Customization of software packages; creation of macros; importing and exporting of electronic spreadsheets, databases, and graphics into reports and manuscripts; desktop publishing techniques; and the use of presentation software to enhance delivery of papers, reports, and research projects are included. Internet concepts and the World Wide Web are reviewed. Prerequisites: CCS 102, or equivalent; or competency in the use of basic microcomputer software and familiarity with computer hardware; or permission of the Business Department. 3 credits (Fall, Spring) Economics
