3 Credits Students in this course learn how to establish and maintain a Web environment by concentrating on the establishment and maintenance of Web Servers. Other topics include database access from a CGI script, email, FTP servers, security, firewalls, and Proxy Servers. Students will learn about establishing access policies, MIME types, and enabling CGI scripts. This should be one of the last courses that the student takes in the Internet Services Technology degree. Students enrolled in a degree or college credit certificate program must complete all prerequisites. Prerequisite: CGS-2763
