3 Credits Provides the student with the basic concepts in a complete cabling system. Topics include cable types and their characteristics, connector types, cable layouts for a simulated system - backbone, cross connects, etc. - and cable installation, testing and troubleshooting of a cable system. The course includes lab work and a lab fee requirement. Prerequisite: EET-1083C or CET-1172C
