3 Credits This course provides a study of human nature and the peculiarities of human behavior and how it relates to crime and delinquency with emphasis on how this behavior relates to the duties and responsibilities of the criminal justice practitioner. The course will emphasize abnormal behavior and how criminal justice practitioners should react with primary emphasis on the behavioral aspects of people in crisis situations and how criminal justice practitioners should respond. The course will deal with issues of police crisis intervention and crisis management.
