Prerequisite: Admission to the program. This class includes a review of medical terminology, basic nursing procedures, and radiographic contrast media and their administration. Basic anatomy and radiographic positioning of the human body in examination of the chest, abdomen, and extremities are thoroughly covered. Trauma radiography is introduced along with the application of radiographic equipment and technical exposure factors for the exams presented.
