Prerequisite: ARRT or N.M.T.C.B. Certified and approval of program faculty. This course is designed to provide the student with an introduction to the field of magnetic resonance imaging. This introductory course will include an overview of the history and development of MRI, fundamental principles, equipment, terminology, patient screening and safety, contraindications, image formation, acquisition, and production.
