Prerequisite: NUR 1022C. This course covers utilization of the nursing process with applications to the adult experiencing alterations in the health state. Content addresses the surgical experience, alterations in protective functions, oncology, death and dying, sexuality, comfort, rest, activity, and mobility. Introductory nursing management principles are applied in the clinical setting. Concurrent campus and clinical lab experiences are provided.
