Prerequisite: Approval by a recognized criminal justice agency or assessment center. Designed to meet the minimum standards required for those accepted to serve as auxiliary police officers within a recognized law enforcement agency. Course consists of lectures, demonstrations, practice, and laboratory experience to satisfy objectives set forth by the Florida Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission and includes FEMA certificate in IS 00700 and IS 00100 L.E. To complete requirements for certification, students must also successfully complete CJD 1704, CJD 1705, CJD 2723, and CJK 0031C.
