Students use a variety of materials and problem-solving techniques to deepen their understanding of basic arithmetic operations, fractions, decimals, percents, and measurement.They analyze problems and arrive at solutions using the techniques of mathematical reasoning.The course emphasizes mathematical discovery and addresses issues of math anxiety, test-taking difficulties, and study skills for math.
