A continuation of the study of modern dance. Students gain proficiency in movement fundamentals, learning and performing dance combinations and locomotor movements to various rhythms and styles of music in large and small groups.The course presents the history, theory and significance of modern dance through lectures, video viewing, outside of-class reading, or assigned performance attendance. Prereq: 3 credits of DAN 111, or permission of instructor
