Survey of moral, legal, and psychological aspects of the use of physical force and deadly physical force. Emphasis on the safe, proper care and use of firearms and the development of basic firearms skills. Meets the training requirement for Steuben County Pistol Permit. (1 cr. hr.) (ASN). Students cannot receive credit for this course and CRJ 1201. Lecture/firing range experience. Students must be 18 years or older and legally eligible to apply for a pistol permit. Fee $30.
