Covers body chemistry, the organ systems, human genetics, and human ecology. Laboratory offers but does not require vertebrate dissection. Alternates to dissection are available. (3 cr. hrs.) (Spring). Designed for Human Services students; not recommended for Chemical Technology, Mathematics/Science, or Elementary Education students. A student cannot earn credit for this course and BIOL 1020 or SCIN 1040. Lecture/laboratory. Lab fee. Meets General Education requirement in Natural Sciences.
