Practice of reading skills that have been shown to be effective and strategies for understanding textbooks in the content areas. Any student with a passing grade lower than B continues to READ 0850. (3 eq. cr. hrs.) (Fall, Spring). Prerequisite: Placement by assessment. Grading: A, B, C, F. Does not fulfill degree or program requirements.
