Prerequisite: AVT 110 LEC 3 hrs., LAB 0 hrs. This course is designed to prepare the student to pass the FAA Instrument Pilot Computer Examination. Subject areas include FAR's air traffic system and procedures, Airman' s Information Manual, IFR navigation systems, IFR charts and approach procedures, weather, forecasts and IFR flight instruments. Successful completion of this course requires a passing grade on the FAA Commercial Pilot Knowledge exam, which is given at computer testing centers available throughout the area. The fee for the exam is the responsibility of the student.
