Critical thinking concepts and nursing process are applied to client care situations using a case study format. Includes acute care and home care situations. Incorporates study of both individual and support system. Reinforces concepts including growth and development, physiology and psychosocial theory. Focus on respiratory, renal, gastrointestinal and neurological health problems. (1 cr. hr.) (Spring). Co-requisite: NURS 2500. Considered a nursing elective for the Nursing Program.
