Prerequisite: AVT 110 LEC 3 hrs., LAB 0 hrs. This course is a continuation of the study of commercial pilot flight operation and is designed to prepare the student to successfully pass the FAA Commercial Pilot computer examination. Subject areas covered include advanced topics in aircraft performance, meteorology, aircraft systems, radio navigation, aerodynamics, weight and balance, FARs, physiology of flight, environmental systems and operational procedures. Successful completion of this course requires a passing grade on the FAA Commercial Pilot Knowledge exam, which is given at computer testing centers available throughout the area. The fee for the exam is the responsibility of the student.
