LEC. 2 hrs., LAB 3 hrs., Course fee $50 In Drawing I, the beginning art student learns the methods, materials, and visual information needed to draw what we see. In small steps students will be lead through a series of simple exercises designed to build competence and confidence. The diversity and complexity of the subjects drawn will gradually grow along with student's drawing and visual skills. Students will create a sketch book and a portfolio including still life drawings, land-scape drawings, perspective drawings, and drawings of the human figure. Materials used will include pencil, charcoal, conte crayon, and ink.
