Prerequisites: MAT 011 (or equivalent), ENG 025 (or equivalent) LEC 3 hrs., LAB 0 hrs. It is the purpose of this course to have the student gain the knowledge of the design, function and operation of aircraft engines, aircraft instruments, and maintenance operations. The student should be able to understand the inspections and the function of maintenance personnel as they relate to aircraft maintenance. The student should also be able to explain the operations of various aircraft components and instruments and be able to describe their operation.
