Prerequisite: CHM 106 (minimum grade C) And ENG 025 or ENG 007 Corequisite: CHM 109 LEC 3 hrs., LAB 0 hrs., REC 1 hr. A continuation of Principles of Chemistry I with emphasis on chemical equilibrium and energy changes in chemical reactions. Also included are acids, bases, and buffers, chemical thermodynamics, kinetics, qualitative analysis and electrochemistry. This course is required for students in Chemical and Environmental Technology and Biotechnology programs. All remedial courses listed must be completed prior to taking this course.
