LEC 0 hrs., LAB 2 hrs., Course fee $10 This course is for the beginner or non-dancer introducing dance as an art form. Fundamentals of stretching and strengthening, plus basic techniques of ballet, modern and jazz are covered. Objective is a general knowledge of movement with information on dance history and vocabulary. Injury prevention is stressed. Students will spend additional time in the studio to satisfy course time requirements.
