Prerequisites: DSN 120, ART 122, ART 130 LEC 1 hrs., LAB 4 hrs., Course fee $75 Presentation Rendering is an advanced level studio course that builds on the work completed in Drawing I and II. It is especially geared for students majoring in Design. The course concentrates on producing virtual product, fashion, architecture, and interior images through the means of controlled light. Emphasis will be placed on setting up proper perspective and generating a line drawing as an underlay. Color marker techniques will be stressed as well as color pencil. In addition, pen and ink techniques and water color will be explored. Students will be introduced to 3D computer modeling. At the end of the course each student will have a collection of portfolio quality renderings that demonstrate a high level of competence in a chosen field of design.
