Prerequisite: ENG 131 or ENG 111 and permission of honors coordinator or department LEC 3 hrs., LAB 0 hrs. A continuation of English Composition I-Honors designed to challenge the advanced student. The course will emphasize expository prose and introduce students to short story, poetry, and drama. A continuation of expository writing techniques introduced in English Composition I-Honors. Designed to give the advanced student experience in analyzing perceptively and writing critically about three literary genres: short story, poetry and drama.
