Prerequisite: MAT 105 or equivalent This is the second course in a two-semester sequence of intermediate algebra and trigonometry with technical applications. Course topics include exponents and radicals, exponential and logarithmic functions, trigonometric functions of any angle, graphs of the sine and cosine functions, vector addition and applications, oblique triangles, complex numbers and their applications, an introduction to statistics, and an intuitive approach to calculus. The use of a graphing calculator is required for this course to further the exploration of these topics and their applications.
