3 class hours, 3 laboratory hours 4 Credits Prerequisite: BIOL 1107 or BIOL 1110 This course is a survey of microorganisms with emphasis on bacteria and their relationships to man. This course covers microbial growth, metabolism, genetics, and classification. It is strongly recommended that the student have two years of high school biology, some high school chemistry or have taken BIOL 1107. Cannot be used in Area D.
