1 class hour, 4 laboratory hours 3 Credits Prerequisite: CADD 1011 or Permission of Instructor This course is primarily for students who plan to pursue careers in architecture and the building trades. Skills will be developed in basic architectural concepts and techniques needed to produce contract drawings. The student will develop C.A.D.D. skills necessary to produce basic drawings related to the construction industry in accordance with standards set forth by the A.I.A. (American Institute of Architects). The course will include a survey of competencies in basic architectural layout and residential and commercial construction. Basic drawing in detailing using C.A.D.D. will be included.
