Corequisite: EMST 2250, CITP 1011 This course provides an overview of special patient populations and their unique needs and requirements in emergency situations. It provides an introduction to growth and development throughout the life span. Topics include: geriatrics, disabilities, hospice, abuse/assault, behavioral/psychiatric disorders and chronically ill clients with emergency situations.
