Discussion of the paramedic profession centers on roles/responsibilities that extend beyond those of the EMT. Topics include the EMS system, safety & well-being of the paramedic, ethical/legal issues, ambulance and rescue operations, hazardous materials incidents, crime scene awareness and communication.
